Didn't find me...

It's funny with this new, "modern" life we have today that everyone spends so much time blogging everyone that I think we forget to talk with one another. Maybe someday soon that will change. Well, I have friends that are trying to find my blog now. It's interesting that people will search for hours trying to find a blog that I may or may not have included them in. Maybe they think that I have some deep dark secrets that I will tell them here that I wouldn't tell them if they were standing in front of me. I don't really know yet. Nobody has asked me the hard questions. Does anyone really care?? Or would they just be as contented to read it here?? Who knows??
It was funny to me that some of the advise that I was given about Ireland came from a blog. I almost died laughing when I finally saw that what Vero had been telling me was there. So if you have any advise tell the world because I can tell you someone will recycle it.
I live in the great metropolis of Provo, ( if you couldn't sense the scarcasm (sp?) it's there) and sometimes there is not alot of diversity here. So when I come to the party everyone has to look up to make sure that a black girl just walked in. Do you really know how many times I've been completely ignored by people who profess, if nothing else, that they want the money that I am offering them because they have claimed they want to deal with the public in their jobs. I have a friend, we'll just call them, Artist. Well Artist and I have been out on a number of occasions when they have had to bring to the attention of the completely clueless 16 year that is working behind the counter that I am there. Is it that they choose not to see me or are they so clueless about how to interact with me that they just walk away. I don't know you tell me!! Then there is the great, "I had a black friend, once." comment. If I walked around saying that I had a white friend once everyone would look at me like I had lost it. Grow up , people!!! We need to get into the habit of dealing with people by not what they look like but by who they show us they are. But until the media stops telling us what beautiful is and isn't I think that will be a long time coming.
Much love gods and goddess!!!

Hell yeah!!! Sugar, I just want to tell you how much I've admired you all these years (shutup it's almost plural). Not just for your incredible awesomeness, but also because I've never ONCE heard you complain about how much it sucks to be discriminated against, or how your life is unfair because people don't know what to do around you. Because, as you see it, that's their problem and not something you should have to worry about. I respect you so much it almost scares me sometimes. (Mostly when you're pissed off, though.) I think the reason it's easier to be so straightforeward on blogs is because the illusion of anonimity is there. (Whether false or not.) We can say or be anything we want. PS - Have you found my blog yet where I'm a 90 year old man??? Just kidding. I love you, babe. Don't change or I'll hitcha where the Good Lord split ya. (Mhehehe)
